BLACK Mac Performance has received positive feedback from the winner of their Christmas competition, Jim Keyes. | 2006

Jim spent two nights at The Holiday Inn Burswood in an Urban Resort Twin Room with breakfast included over the New Year period. Being a festive time of the year, it was no surprise the great atmosphere that Jim mentioned, adding to his relaxing and most enjoyable stay at the hotel. When Jim wasn't enjoying the fantastic food and river views he was watching the tennis or trying his luck at the casino.

Jim, like so many of BMP clients, continue to enjoy the many great benefits of being a part of the centres team. This month, they are all priority invited guests of the BMP's twice annual Dyno Day Shoot Out, to be held on Saturday, February 24th.

They will be offered priority places in entering the competition, giving them the opportunity to compete and possibly win personalised Black Mac trophies and hundreds of dollars worth of petrol vouchers. Otherwise, they may simply prefer attending the event without competing and enjoying another fun-filled day with many other guests. The Black Mac Performance Centre looks forward to seeing all competitors and guests on the day.

Only The Best For Dick Johnson | 2006

Herrod had just completed a custom built car for Ford racing legend Dick Johnson.

It has had a customized interior fitted, with improved bolstering and custom material.

Extra's included on this cutsom build car for Dick, have been the fitment of an alloy block, lifted from the Ford GT40 from the states. This alloy block carries 45kg less than the standard cast iron block.

The alloy block has a 6 bolt bottom end, fitted with ARP bottom end stud kit. More than enough to handle the 540hp engine. The Alloy block has been fitted with a set of custom 11.1 to 1 forged pistons with Manley forged rods.

To top the bullet proof bottem end off is a set of Kostecki / Herrod CNC ported cylinder heads with a set of custom grind hi-lift cam shafts.

Holding the heads down is a set of the ARP head studs. Finishing off the engine package is a set of the SFI approved Under drive pulleys on one end of the engine, and a competiton clutch and steel flywheel on the other.

Rob has finished the final tune with the use of the Stealth tuner to end up with over 325rwkw on this custom build rocket ship. For a Ford Legend like Dick, this is a trick set of wheels, with just that little bit of extra poke.
